What do you do for fun?
Joy for me is found in reading, cooking, working out and spending time with friends and family.
How do you live out a faithful life here at New Hope in your role?
God has called me to faithfully use my administrative gifts here at New Hope to take care of the day-to-day church details so that our talented and caring ministry staff can use their time and energy to serve God’s community of people.
Isaiah 6:8 - And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.”
What is your family like?
My family is a little crazy and always busy running from one place to the next, but we very much enjoy spending time together laughing, playing games, and traveling - especially to Disneyworld. My husband, Gene, and I live in Fishers with our two kids, Gillian and Owen, and two fur babies, Teddy and Thackery.

How you live out a faithful life here at New Hope in your role?
To be faithful is to be true to God’s calling. I believe God has called me to do life with people whether that is a student, a parent, or a volunteer and to help them grow deeper in their walk with Jesus.

Susan Kinney
Director of Children & Outreach Ministries
What do you do for fun?
For fun I enjoy teaching dance (tap, jazz and ballet), watching our boys play sports, traveling, and spending time laughing and enjoying life with my family and friends.
How do you live out a faithful life here at New Hope in your role?
I strive to be faithful to Jesus’ commands to serve people. By leading our mission outreach ministry we live out these commands by serving people in our local community and across the globe, however I also get to experience the joy that is leading our children’s ministry program. Jesus showed us what an important part children play in the Kingdom of God, and I pray that with my leadership we produce a program that exemplifies our mission statement. “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.” - Proverbs 22:6
What is your family like?
We have two amazing sons, Austin and Gavin, and we live in Pendleton (just a hop, skip, and a jump away from New Hope). Our Boston Terrier, Polly, rounds out our family and helps balance out the boy:girl ratio in our home!

CenterPoint Counseling
My ministry at New Hope is to provide counseling to members as well as those in the community, who are struggling with the challenges of life. I see individuals, couples and families in my practice.
While the people who come into my office are struggling and in great pain, it is so exciting to witness their growth as they discover who they are truly meant to be.
