“We believe our children are gifts to us from God. A part of our mission is to help them discover their own God-given talents and experience the joy of being a part of a warm and loving Christian community.”

New Hope Presbyterian Church is a very child-friendly and child-oriented congregation. We encourage children to fully participate in the Sunday services. Children’s Worship activities and crayons are available during worship service that coordinate to the sermon’s message and scripture.

At New Hope we strive to:

  • Make each child feel welcome, comfortable, and important.
  • Offer a variety of relevant, hands on ways to understand the Bible and how it  applies to everyday life.
  • Nurture faith and spiritual development.
  • Provide an opportunity for creative learning, personal development, worship, and prayer.

Check-In

After our children’s message during our worship service, our friendly children’s ministry team will greet you and check-in your children to the nursery or into their Sunday school class. Upon checking in for the first time, we will ask for some basic personal information. (NOTE: We value your privacy and will not share this information with anyone.)

Safety

Keeping your kids safe and secure is our top priority. All of our New Hope Sunday school Leaders are screened with an interview and federal background check. All rooms have two volunteers present at all times. The Children’s Ministry Director will monitor the exits and hallways.

ANGEL CHOIR

If your child(ren) like to sing and are in kindergarten through 4th grade, join us in Angel Choir! Rehearsals start January 7 and are from after church until 11:30am Sunday mornings. We meet in the choir room at the top of the stairs. For more information, contact Martha Thieme at

We are really casual, so don't worry if you know your child(ren) might miss a rehearsal or two (or more). We're all about having fun while we learn about Jesus through song.
