In the midst of all of life’s activity, do you ever feel like you are just skimming the surface? Do you wonder if there is more to this life with Christ? That you have been called to something greater?
Here are a few opportunities for you to go deeper in your faith and find community at New Hope:
We are starting a brand new program for Sunday School at New Hope!
Starting with our Fall session, we will be using video series from the Study Gateway platform to guide our discussions. This session will run for six Sundays, from October 1st to November 5th, from 9:00 to 9:45 am. We will have a kickoff Sunday on September 24th to introduce our classes and sign up for them. There will also be Sunday School classes for children and youth, and you can learn more about them on their respective pages.
As with our most recent group sessions, we will have three different adult classes running simultaneously. However, during this Fall session, each class will follow a separate curriculum. The courses are spread across three categories: Bible Study, Theology and History, and Discipleship and Christian Living. Each class session will consist of watching a video and classroom discussion. For more information on the three courses that will be available, see the sections below.
To sign up for a class, please sign up on the sheets in the back of the sanctuary or use this link!

What is MOPS?
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers. It is an international organization that recognizes that the years from infancy through kindergarten are a fundamental time in the mother-child relationship and are filled with unique needs for community and support. MOPS groups meet regularly to share the joys and challenges of motherhood. The international website is www.mops.org.
MOPS meeting topics can be anything from doing a craft together for fellowship or listening to a speaker talk about relevant parenting topics, and of course there is always brunch.
When does MOPS meet?
New Hope MOPS meets 1 to 2 Fridays per month September through May from 9:30 – 11:30 am.
There is also a Moms Night Out (MNO) gathering and a Playdate scheduled once per month for those who would like to participate. In addition, MOPS offers its members opportunities for service projects.
What will my child do during MOPS?
The childcare program is staffed by paid workers who have completed our background check process. Teachers take great care of the children in the preschool wing while the mothers meet in the sanctuary. MOPS Kids activities include a snack for the children, craft or other creative activity (depending on age of the child), stories, songs and of course, playtime with other kids. MOPS International provides an age appropriate curriculum.
The Journey: An Invitation to Grow Deeper in Your Walk with Christ
The Journey invites you to awaken to God’s good work in and through you. Imagine the significant rewards that could result if you are brave enough to walk through a process that deepens and refreshes your life with Christ with a group of curious, motivated adults.
The Journey is a meaningful walk with others that explores the biggest questions of your faith: Who is God? Who am I? What does God desire to do through me?
The Journey group (usually 6-12 people) meets together weekly, guided by a trained facilitator who encourages accountability, safe relationships, thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and prayer. During the pandemic, our Journey groups will meet on Zoom.
*The cost of materials is $250.00
